Linn County Mayors' Bicycle Ride

The Mayors' Bicycle Ride is an 8 mile fun ride through central Cedar Rapids on Labor Day, Monday September 7, 2009 starting and ending at Ellis Park. An optional 2.5 mile ride is available. The Mayors' Bike Ride is sponsered by Linn Coutny Trails Association and the City of Cedar Rapids. All Mayors and city council members within Linn County are invited to participate to recognize the recreational bicycling opportunities within Linn County.

Registration for the Mayors' Bike Ride is from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. on September 7 in the lower parking lot of Ellis Park (Ellis Blvd). Announcements and presention of the participating Linn County Mayors will be from 10:00 to 10:15. The ride will commence at 10:15. This is a fun ride, not a race.
