CEMAR Trail Informational Meeting

CEMAR TRAIL

PUBLIC INFORMATION MEETING

DECEMBER 13, 2008 - 10:00 A.M.

ECHO HILL PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

1700 B Ave. NE

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA

The City of Cedar Rapids, in cooperation with the Mound View Neighborhood Association, is hosting a public information meeting for the CeMar Recreational Trail.

The trail will generally follow the old Railroad right-of-way from Cedar Lake to Arthur Elementary School, and eventually to the Cedar Rapids-Marion city limits.

The meeting will be an “open house” format from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon, on Saturday, December 13, 2008, at the Echo Hill Presbyterian Church, 1700 B Avenue NE, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. At this meeting, the public will have the opportunity to view project data and issues identified to date, improvement and alignment concepts, and speak with the design representatives concerning the project. You may come at any time during this period. There will be no formal presentation.

The public is encouraged to attend the meeting, so the City may have public input concerning project needs, and can obtain the neighborhood perspective.
